Game Night Tracker ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. It applies to the Game Night Tracker website at gamenighttracker.com and to any app version of it.

Information We Collect

When you use Game Night Tracker, we collect:

• Account information — your email address and display name when you create an account
• Game data — scores, player names, game results, and statistics that you record in the app
• Group information — the names of groups you create or join, and the members of those groups
• Feedback — if you send feedback through the app, we store your message, its category, the name you entered, and your account ID
• Technical data — like any website, our hosting and the services listed below receive your IP address and browser details when your device loads the app. We do not use analytics or tracking tools.

Players you add to a game by name (for example, friends without an account) are stored as text in that game and are visible to the members of your group.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the Game Night Tracker service
• Save your game history and statistics across devices
• Generate aggregate worldwide statistics (anonymized, no personally identifiable information is shared)
• Allow you to share game results with members of your group

Data Storage and Service Providers

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

To run the app, we rely on these providers, each of which can see your IP address and browser details when your device requests files from it:

• Supabase — database and sign-in
• Netlify — website hosting
• Google Fonts — delivers the app's typefaces
• cdnjs (Cloudflare) and jsDelivr — deliver open-source code libraries the app uses

Worldwide Statistics

Game Night Tracker displays aggregate worldwide statistics (such as total games played and most popular day of the week). These statistics are anonymized and do not include any personally identifiable information or individual game details.

Advertising

Game Night Tracker does not display advertisements and does not share your data with advertising networks.

Data Retention and Deleting Your Account

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and personal data yourself at any time: sign in, open My profile (top right), and choose Delete account. If you can't sign in, you can request deletion by email. Full instructions, including exactly what is deleted and what is kept, are on our account deletion page.

In short: your login, email, profile, and group memberships are deleted immediately. Games you played in groups that still have other members are kept so those members' history isn't lost, but they are no longer linked to you and your name in them is replaced with "Deleted player". Deleted data may remain in routine backups for up to 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Game Night Tracker is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Delete your account and data (see above)
• Request a copy of your game data — email us at the address below

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
